Youth (Jr. & Sr. High)

Youth are an important part of our community at Slate Hill. Our leaders are committed to providing an atmosphere where our youth can explore and grow their faith in a caring and safe environment. 

Junior High and Senior High Youth Programs:

• Sunday School: A weekly class with discussion and prayer time following our Sunday worship service
• Youth Group: A weekly time of faith formation and fun on Wednesday evenings
• Bible quizzing: Slate Hill participates in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Bible quizzing program where youth study the Bible in preparation for friendly, regional competition.
• Special Events: Retreats; Youth banquet and fundraiser; Mission projects; Creation Festival; Youth convention; Special fellowship/social events – Pool parties, Christmas parties, game nights, movie nights, tubing etc.
